Taylor County High School graduate and Transylvania University sophomore Cory Rash has been named an admissions assistant for the 2008-2009 school year.
Admissions assistants represent the admissions office and Transylvania in an official capacity at on- and off-campus events, give campus tours and host prospective students.
"These positions are highly competitive and extremely important in the entire admissions process," said Deana Ison, Transylvania's senior associate director of admissions. "Cory has the leadership skills and dedication to be a great admissions assistant."
Rash is the son of John and Peggy Rash of Elk Horn.
