Circuit Civil Settled

  •  09-CI-022, filed 1/20/09; Greg Redford dba Old Craftsman Cabinets v. C. Alex and Ella Louise Montgomery of Lebanon Avenue in Campbellsville and Taylor County Bank of Campbellsville. Plaintiff alleged defendants owed for materials and labor, $48,973.26, interest, court costs and attorney’s fees. On 2/5/09 the Montgomerys filed a counterclaim for damages, not to exceed $30,000, interest, court costs, attorney’s fees and asked that the plaintiff’s claim be dismissed. On 8/16/11 an agreed order was entered dismissing the claim with prejudice because it has been settled.
  •  10-CI-467, filed 10/7/10; Deutsche Bank National Trust Co., as trustee for Argent Securities Inc., asset-backed pass-through certificates, series 2005-W4, of Irving, Texas v. Rodney D. and Melissa Stargel of Virgie Lane in Campbellsville, Equity One Inc. of West Main Street in Louisville and U.S. Bank as custodian for Sass Muni V DTR of Clays Mill Road in Lexington. Plaintiff alleged non-payment of promissory note, $61,659.13, interest, late fees, court costs, advances, attorney’s fees and the sale of property. On 8/2/11 a judgment was rendered for the plaintiff, $61,659.13, interest, court costs, attorney’s fees, advances, late fees and the sale of property.
  •  10-CI-485, filed 10/22/10; David Marcum v. Genesis A. Feather of Bengal Road in Campbellsville, Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance Co. of Louisville, Frances K. Feather of Bengal Road in Campbellsville and Timothy C. McGuire of Russell Road in Campbellsville. Plaintiff alleged defendant owed for damages in collision, special and consequential damages, interest, court costs and attorney’s fees. On 8/16/11 an agreed order was entered dismissing the claim with prejudice.

On 8/12/11 a default judgment was rendered for the plaintiff, $12,524.45, interest, court costs, $999.19 in interest and $1,878 in attorney’s fees.

The following businesses were inspected by the Lake Cumberland District Health Department using the scale below.

  •  85 to 100, pass inspection.
  •  70 to 84, business must be re-inspected within 30 days.
  •  Less than 70, a suspension of permit notice is sent to owner; if owner doesn’t reply within 10 days, the permit will be revoked and the business will be closed.

 

  •  Hawg Daddy’s of Meadow Creek Road in Campbellsville received a health code score of 100, citing no violations.
  •  Creek Side Restaurant of New Lebanon Road in Campbellsville received a health code score of 95. A sugar scoop was stored improperly with the handle down, a scoop in pepper wasn’t approved, there was no sanitizer in wiping cloth bucket, reach-in freezer/cooler handles were soiled, buildup was found in an ice machine, walls were soiled at three-compartment sink, buildup was found in the walls of the wash room and ceiling tiles were in poor repair.
  •  Burress Grocery of Speck Ridge Road in Campbellsville received retail and health code scores of 100, citing no violations.
  •  Pancho’s of East Broadway in Campbellsville received a health code score of 94. Product at grill wasn’t at 45 degrees or below, peppers were stored on the floor, ketchup was stored with cleaning products, sugar and spices were stored uncovered, eggs were stored over ready to eat products, food was stored unprotected in walk-in cooler and reach-in cooler and grill, reach-in freezer/refrigerator was soiled, cooler at grill was soiled and floors were soiled in hard to reach areas in walk-in cooler.
  •  Montgomery Summer Snow of Lakeway Shopping Center in Campbellsville received a health code score of 100, citing no violations.
  •  J&M Motorsports of Gumm Road in Campbellsville received a health code score of 100, citing no violations.
  •  Gate Service Station #620 of East Broadway in Campbellsville received a food health code score of 97 and a retail score of 100. Walk-in cooler shelving was not smooth and easily cleanable, reach-in freezer was soiled, buildup was found in ice machine and single service items were stored on the floor.
