Presbyterian churches to host joint Maundy Thursday service

Five Presbyterian Church (USA) congregations in Taylor, Marion, Nelson and Washington counties are inviting area residents to attend a worship service today, which is Maundy Thursday.

The service of Holy Communion and Tenebrae, an ancient liturgy meaning "a service of shadows," will take place at 7:30 p.m. at Springfield Presbyterian Church. The church is located at 140 E. Main St. in Springfield.
