The regular season is over and elimination begins in high school baseball and softball this week in Kentucky.
The 20th District Softball Tournament will have its first-round games tonight at Lindsey Wilson College with the championship set for tomorrow.
No. 1-seed Marion County plays Campbellsville today at 6 with the No. 2-seed Taylor County going against No. 3-seed Adair County in the 8 p.m. nightcap.
The Lady Cardinals won both games over the Lady Indians by narrow margins of 4-3 and 6-4.
The 20th District Baseball Tournament takes place on the campus of Adair County High School with top-seed Adair County entertaining Campbellsville tonight and No. 2-seed Marion County battling No. 3-seed Taylor County tomorrow.
The baseball district title tilt is scheduled for Wednesday.
The Cardinals lost both games to the Knights by counts of 6-5 and 10-8.
