One injured in two-vehicle collision

One person was injured Wednesday in a two-car collision on KY 527.

According to a report filed by Taylor County Sheriff's Deputy Rodney Cox, Allison Thompson, 17, of Gene Hunt Road in Campbellsville was driving a 2003 Chevrolet at 4:30 p.m. on KY 527.

The report states Thompson struck a 2004 Chevrolet being operated by Mazetta Sprowles, 63, of Maple Road in Campbellsville.

Sprowles was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital by Campbellsville/Taylor County Rescue personnel where she was treated and released.
