Kentucky State Police are warning residents about a Publisher's Clearing House scam.
According to a KSP press release, Forcht Bank in Campbellsville has received out-of-state calls from people attempting to verify a Publisher's Clearing House check. The checks have Forcht Bank's routing number, but bank officials say the checks are not valid.
Those who received the checks were told to call to process their claim and to send money in order to complete the process. The FBI has been notified by Forcht Bank and is currently investigating the complaint.
