A Campbellsville man has been arrested and charged with allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl.

According to a Campbellsville Police report, officers received a report that the girl had been raped on South Court Street on Aug. 3.

Officer Ben Riggs began an investigation, which ultimately resulted in the identification and arrest of Jeffrey Adam Dicken, 20, of 736 Buckner St.

Court records state that Dicken told Riggs he had sex with the girl four times and she gave him oral sex twice.

Dicken was charged with four counts of first-degree rape and two counts of first-degree sodomy.

The charges are both Class B felonies, punishable by as much as 20 years in prison each.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges in Taylor District Court last Wednesday. He was appointed a public defender and bond was set at $100,000 cash. Dicken was ordered to not have contact with his alleged victim or her home.

Dicken is scheduled to appear in court again Monday, Aug. 26.

The investigation is continuing.
