Police searching for man who ran from them

Campbellsville Police are looking for a man who ran away from them after he allegedly committed an assault earlier this month.

According to a report, on June 7 at 11:27 a.m., Campbellsville Police responded to a report of an assault at 226 Eads St. The occupant of the residence, Annual D. Flinchum, fled before officers arrived.

The report states that officers began an investigation, which led to obtaining a search warrant of the premises. The search produced evidence, which led to additional charges against Flinchum. After the investigation, warrants were issued against Flinchum for possession of a firearm and second-degree assault.

According to the report, Flinchum remains at large and is believed to be in the Taylor County area.

Officer Roy Rodgers is investigating.
