Police investigating two recent deaths

Police are still investigating the death of a 3-month-old, and have ruled that a Campbellsville woman’s death last month was an accidental overdose.

According to a Campbellsville Police news release, Campbellsville/Taylor County EMS personnel responded to an emergency call on July 20 that a 3-month-old boy was unresponsive at a home on Mill Street. The infant was treated at Taylor Regional Hospital and later transported to Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville, where he was pronounced dead.
