Opened in March, Private Investigators actually houses two businesses - Campbellsville native Greg Gribbins' Paladin Investigations and Michael Mann's K.R.S. Private Investigations. Gribbins and Mann are state-licensed private investigators.
Gribbins has 21 years of service in the U.S. Air Force and 15 years' experience as a police officer, deputy, detective sergeant, federal security officer and private investigator. Gribbins said he has conducted more than 800 insurance fraud investigations and has completed more than 1,300 hours of investigative and law enforcement training. He has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice administration and an associate's degree in applied science.
Located at 110 W. Main St., the business is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Services offered include investigations of a person's background, wrongful employment, infidelity, child custody, criminal, sexual harassment, nursing home/caregiver abuse, civil rights violations, auto sales scams, insurance and workers' compensation fraud and missing persons.
Other services include location of witnesses or defendants, skip/trace locations, recorded interviews, service of process, locating hidden assets, passive GPS tracking, surveillance, investigative report writing and criminal defense.
Q: Tell us about the business.
A: A lot of research was required (to start the business). I believe we are the first detective firm established in Taylor County. We are marketing in 15 cities.
Q: What is your favorite aspect of operating a business in Campbellsville/Taylor County?
A: The people in Campbellsville/Taylor County are all family and friends. The other business owners want you to do well.
