Family, friends, health and God. I have so much to be thankful for. Many people cannot say that they have loving family, trustworthy friends or even a roof over their heads. I have all of these things and more. But yet I take it for granted. I may not be the luckiest, most wealthy person in the world but I am thankful for what I have.
Parents who are always there when I need or want something, and a brother who is half way nice to me make my world better. My parents have never neglected me and my grandparents have always been full of love. My cousins and I have always had a strong bond and many times not taken the time to appreciate one another, but we have always been there. Consisting of 13 aunts and uncles, and eight first cousins, our love is even bigger than the size of my family.
Not only do I have a wonderful family as in the people I'm related to but also the best church family I could possibly ask for. We have laughed and cried, but know matter what we have and always will stick together through thick and thin. Whether we have a major problem or just want someone to chat with, my youth group is always there.
I also have the best friends in the entire galaxy. They are always there when I need them and can keep my secrets, but there is one in particular who has NEVER let me down, and that is Megan. We have shared some of the best moments of our young lives together and when someone or something knocks me down, she is always there to pick me up just in time, every time.
Last but not least is my health. I have never had any major health problems like some people. I wake up every morning and know that I am not going to have to go and get chemo or radiation, and for that I am eternally grateful.
I have so much to be thankful for, so many blessings and gifts from God. Yet so many times I take those everyday little things like family, friends, health and spiritual comfort for granted when I know that somewhere in this cold, dark world someone would love to have what I do. For all those less fortunate may God bless you richly.
