One person injured in three-vehicle crash

A local woman was injured in a three-vehicle crash on Tuesday on the north bypass. According to a Campbellsville Police report, officers were called to the scene at about 4:15 p.m. The report states that Darcie Parrott, 24, of Campbellsville, was traveling east in a 2003 Chevrolet Cobalt on the bypass and appears to have crossed the centerline of traffic, colliding with a 2004 Ford Explorer, driven by James Adkins, 30, of Campbellsville.
Parrott then collided with a 2008 Chevrolet truck driven by Jonathan Mills of Campbellsville.
Campbellsville Fire & Rescue and Campbellsville/Taylor County EMS personnel responded to the scene and removed Parrott from her vehicle. She was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries. Campbellsville Police Officer Andy Warren investigated.
