A Campbellsville man was injured after a three-vehicle collision on Saturday. According to a Campbellsville Police report, officers were called to an injury collision on U.S. 68 at about 3:45 p.m., five miles west of Campbellsville. After an investigation, officers concluded that a vehicle driven by Jeffrey Nau of Louisville was traveling east on U.S. 68 and was slowing or stopping in traffic. The report states that a motorcycle operated by Campbell Bishop of Campbellsville was traveling east on U.S. 68 and was following the Nau vehicle. When the Nau vehicle slowed or stopped for other traffic, the report states, Bishop was unable to stop and attempted to avert the collision by steering into the oncoming lane, subsequently striking the Nau vehicle and a third vehicle operated by Stephen Dykes of Somerset, who was traveling west on U.S. 68. Campbellsville/Taylor County EMS personnel treated Bishop at the scene. Campbellsville Police Officer Andy Warren investigated.
