One injured in two-vehicle crash

A Campbellsville man was injured in a two-vehicle crash on KY 55 on Monday.

According to a Taylor County Sheriff's Office report, James Arnett, 53, of 149 Hiestand St., was driving a 1987 Ford Ranger truck south on KY 55 at 2:19 p.m. and attempting to turn left onto South Columbia Avenue.

The report states that Arnett told deputies he didn't notice a 2007 Toyota Tacoma truck driven by Bonita Owens, 60, of 100 Arbor Lane in Campbellsville, and turned into her path.

Arnett was treated at the scene by Campbellsville/Taylor County EMS personnel and then transported to Taylor Regional Hospital for treatment of a broken wrist. He was treated and released.

Roger Hawkins, also of 149 Hiestand St. in Campbellsville and a passenger in Arnett's vehicle, and Owens and her passenger, June Hood, of 97 Earl Ave. in Campbellsville, weren't injured in the crash.

Taylor County Fire & Rescue personnel also responded.

Taylor County Sheriff's deputies Dickie Benningfield and Billy Rice investigated.
