A Liberty woman was injured Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash on KY 70.

According to a Taylor County Sheriff's Office report, Sharleen Rodgers, 56, was driving a 2004 Jeep west on KY 70 at 6:40 a.m.

Rodney K. Cox, 55, of Campbellsville, was driving a 2000 Ford Explorer with a utility trailer west.

The report states that Rodgers struck the driver's side of Cox's trailer. She then crossed the westbound lane and left the roadway. She struck an embankment and tree and then came to rest in a field.

Campbellsville/Taylor County EMS personnel transported Rodgers to Taylor Regional Hospital for treatment. She was treated and released.

Cox was not injured in the collision.

Taylor County Sheriff's Deputy Mark Dickens investigated.
