A Campbellsville man was injured in a one-vehicle crash on Thursday night and police suspect alcohol was a contributing factor in the wreck.
According to a Taylor County Sheriff's Office report, Donald R. Seaborne, 50, of 425 Spurlington Road, was traveling east on KY 744 at 10:15 p.m. when his vehicle dropped off the shoulder of the road. Seaborne overcorrected and lost control of his 2001 Chevrolet truck, went off the roadway and struck an embankment. Seaborne's vehicle came to a rest after it struck a tree.
The report states that Seaborne received head, hip and leg injuries in the crash. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time.
Campbellsville/Taylor County EMS personnel removed Seaborne from his vehicle and transported him to Taylor Regional Hospital, where he was admitted. No information was available at press time as to Seaborne's condition.
Taylor County Sheriff's Deputy Ricky Underwood is investigating.
