A Campbellsville man was injured when his vehicle slid on black ice and he struck a guardrail.
According to a Taylor County Sheriff's Office report, Nathaniel Echols, 68, of 717 High Pine, was traveling south on Tuesday at 10:28 a.m. on New Columbia Road. He struck a patch of black ice and lost control of his 2002 Ford F150, struck a guardrail and overturned.
Campbellsville and Taylor County Fire & Rescue personnel freed Echols after he became trapped inside his truck.
Campbellsville/Taylor County EMS personnel transported Echols to Taylor Regional Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. He was treated and released.
Sheriff's Deputy Branden Wilson investigated.
