One person was injured in a Marion County crash involving two Campbellsville women Friday.

According to a Kentucky State Police report, at about 12:22 p.m., Dale Garen, 57, of Seymour, Mo. was driving a 2006 Peterbilt along U.S. 68, just outside of Lebanon, when he attempted to avoid colliding with a 1996 Chevy, driven by Christie Stiths, 34, of Brandenburg. Stiths had slowed her vehicle for an unknown reason, the report states.

In attempting to avoid striking Stiths' vehicle, Garen struck a 1997 Chevy drive by Shirley Morris, 63, of Campbellsville. Morris' vehicle then struck a 2004 Mercury driven by Catherine Browning, 61, of Campbellsville, who then struck Stiths' vehicle.

Morris was treated and released from Springview Hospital.

Garen, Browning and her passenger, Cameron Leake, 10, of Lebanon, and Stiths and her passengers, Ervin Stiths, 60, of White Mills, Devin Stiths, 6, of Brandenburg and Kennedy Stiths, 2, of Brandenburg, were not injured. All drivers and their passengers were wearing seat belts.

KSP Trooper Les Moses investigated.
