One injured, cited for DUI after crash

A Campbellsville man was injured and cited for DUI after he crashed his vehicle on KY 744 on Sunday.

According to a Taylor County Sheriff's Office report, Scott Williams, 47, was driving a 1996 Chevrolet Blazer west on KY 744 at 12:12 p.m.

The report states that Williams lost control of his vehicle, ran off the westbound side and struck a stop sign and the Pitman Valley Church sign. He then overcorrected and crossed the eastbound lane.

Williams drove through a yard at 1365 Newton Lane and struck a tree, where his vehicle came to a rest.
