A Campbellsville man was injured and cited for DUI after he crashed his vehicle on KY 744 on Sunday.
According to a Taylor County Sheriff's Office report, Scott Williams, 47, was driving a 1996 Chevrolet Blazer west on KY 744 at 12:12 p.m.
The report states that Williams lost control of his vehicle, ran off the westbound side and struck a stop sign and the Pitman Valley Church sign. He then overcorrected and crossed the eastbound lane.
Williams drove through a yard at 1365 Newton Lane and struck a tree, where his vehicle came to a rest.
Campbellsville/Taylor County EMS personnel transported Williams to Taylor Regional Hospital for treatment of possible chest injuries. He was treated and released.
After being transported to TRH, Williams was cited for DUI.
Taylor County Sheriff's Deputy Billy Rice investigated. Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement Officer Jason Morris also responded.
