One injured in Broadway crash

A Campbellsville teenager was injured Friday, Nov. 9, in a one-vehicle crash on Broadway and Old Greensburg Road.

According to a Campbellsville Police report, officers responded to a report of an injury collision at 7:51 a.m. at the intersection of West Broadway and Old Greensburg Road.

Myceala Forrest, 18, of Campbellsville told officers that she failed to see that a 1999 International box truck, being operated by 60-year-old Mitchell Baker of Monticello, was stopped and waiting to make a left-hand turn onto Old Greensburg Road.

The report states that Forrest struck the Baker vehicle in the rear.

Campbellsville/Taylor County EMS personnel transported Forrest to Taylor Regional Hospital for treatment. At press time, no information was available as to her condition. Baker was not injured in the collision.

Campbellsville Fire & Rescue personnel also responded. Campbellsville Police Officer Bart Gilpin investigated.
