No-fee adoption days offered at shelter

Those still shopping for Christmas gifts are in luck.

The Taylor County Animal Shelter will waive its $100 adoption fees next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 17, 18 and 19.

According to Taylor County Animal Shelter Director John Harris, those who want to adopt on those days will receive the entire adoption package without paying the adoption fee.

Shelter adoptions include the adoption of a dog or cat, microchip, parvo and rabies shots, de-wormer, basic exam and 30 days of insurance.
