Campbellsville went on a three-minute drought to start the second half and never fully recovered in dropping a 69-56 decision Monday night to No.-2 ranked Union University.
“I’m disappointed,” coach Ginger Colvin said. “They have a really nice team. We played super the first half and in the second half we got away from it.”
The Lady Tigers committed 22 turnovers and could manage but 22 points after intermission. Twice during the second half, CU committed three consecutive turnovers allowing Union to construct a 62-52 lead.
