Neighborhood hosts annual Christmas decorating contest

Forest Hills Homeowners Association hosted its annual Christmas decorating contest on Saturday evening, Dec. 13.


The homes, which were judged by individuals from out of town, were scored in seven categories. The winners follow.


Best Overall — Kenny and Misty Roller, 335 Cambridge Way, winner; and Scott and Jenny Jessie, 121 Cambridge Way, first runner-up.


Most Traditional — John and Shelly Miller, 172 Cambridge Way, winner; Frank and Shirley Cheatham, 30 Nottingham Court, first runner-up; Clark and Kaye Agathen, 820 Forest Hills Drive, second runner-up; and Mark and Vickie McKinley, 500 Forest Hills Drive, honorable mention.


Best Nativity — Charlie and Phyllis Richardson, 568 Cambridge Way, winner; and Kim Lyons, 111 Woodbridge, first runner-up.


Best Animation — Richard and Sonya Kessler, 306 Cambridge Way, winner.


Best Use of Colored Lights — Lyle and Amy Knifley, 211 Cambridge Way, winner; Dale and Teresa Wolford, 532 Cambridge Way, first runner-up; and George and Naomi Cereza, 104 Kensington Way, second runner-up.


Best Use of White Lights — Jim and Pam Ewing, 607 Hyde Park, winner; and Kimble and Julie Jessie, 113 Yorkshire Place, first runner-up.


Most Creative — Richard and Sonya Kessler, 306 Cambridge Way, winners; Terry and Mitzi Tedder, 516 Cambridge Way, first runner-up; and Chris and Karen Reynolds, 609 Forest Hills Drive, second runner-up.
