The Taylor County 4-H Talk Meet Competition was Tuesday, Feb. 1 at Taylor County Middle School. Forty-six 4-H members presented speeches at this competition, with many more participating on a classroom level.
For the competition, 4-H members were grouped in age divisions. A large number of participants came from the 9- and 10-year-old divisions. Both of these age divisions consisted of more than one room of competition. The top two speeches were selected from each room. These individuals advanced to the finals for selection of the overall winner.
