With Mother's Day approaching this Sunday, The Caring Place would like to ask you to keep our mothers who are in shelter in your hearts and minds.

This Sunday when you are preparing for your family visit, whether it be to take Mom out to eat, choose the proper gift or card or just a simple phone call ... please stop for a minute and say a prayer for the thousands of women whose Mother's Day won't be spent at home but rather in a domestic violence shelter. They, too, would like to be in their homes free of violence. However, they are not afforded that luxury.
