Missing man found

Taylor County Sheriff's deputies have found a missing Taylor County man.

According to a sheriff's office news release, James P. Cook, 72, was last seen on Sept. 3 at Lucky Vista Motel in Campbellsville.

Cook was reported missing on Thursday at about 8 p.m. and a search for him began.

The report states Cook left the hotel to go to Taylor Regional Hospital, though he never arrived.

Cook is a white male, 6 feet, 2 inches tall, with gray hair and blue eyes. He has Alzheimer's disease and history of congestive heart failure. The report states that he might not be taking his medication properly.

Cook was last seen driving a Green 1995 Ford Pickup truck, with Kentucky license plate number 916 FPS.

Another sheriff's office release, issued at 5:15 a.m. on Friday, states that Cook has been found.
