His requests to be released from prison were denied last year. Now, Ronald Osinger is taking his case to a higher court.
In August 2004, Ronald Eugene "June Bug" Osinger Jr., now 28, was sentenced to serve 10 years in prison on four counts of first-degree sodomy, two counts of first-degree rape, first-degree sex abuse and three counts of intimidating a witness. He pleaded guilty to the charges in June 2004.
However, the victims in Osinger's case recanted their testimony before a judge two years later.
