A Campbellsville man has been sentenced to more than six years in prison on drug charges in U.S. District Court.
Godfrey Barnett, 57, of 209 Baptist St. was indicted by a U.S. District Court grand jury for the Western District of Kentucky in August 2005 on a charge of possessing, with the intent to distribute, 5 or more grams of crack cocaine.
As a result, according to the indictment, Barnett was also charged with forfeiture, meaning, if found guilty, he would be required to forfeit $800 gained from selling the drug.
