Man pleads guilty to theft, other charges dismissed

A Campbellsville man has pleaded guilty to a theft charge and had other charges against him dismissed in exchange for his guilty plea.

Jerry D. Maupin, 35, of 265 Maupin Road in Campbellsville appeared before Taylor Circuit Court Judge Doughlas M. George on Tuesday, Dec. 4.

Maupin pleaded guilty to theft by deception more than $500. The prosecutor has recommended that Maupin receive a three-year sentence and pay $3,655.34 in restitution.
