A Campbellsville man has been arrested and charged with selling drugs.
Harold Jermaine Barnett, 32, of 403 Underwood St., was arrested Friday, March 14, at 1:48 p.m.
According to court records, Kentucky State Police DESI Trooper Travis Begley went to the Underwood Street home to serve an active warrant for Barnett's arrest. When he arrived, he found 42 grams of crack cocaine, rolling papers, digital scales and a .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun.
Barnett, a convicted felon, was charged with first-degree selling of more than 4 grams of a controlled substance, his second offense, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and possession of drug supplies.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges in Taylor District Court on Monday, March 17. Bond was set at $10,000 cash and Barnett said he would hire his own attorney.
A preliminary hearing was set for Wednesday.
