The Campbellsville man shot by police after allegedly firing a handgun at them has been arrested and charged with attempted murder.
Adam D. Powell, 22, was arrested by Kentucky State Police officers Wednesday and charged with criminal attempt to commit murder and two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
Powell remains hospitalized in fair condition at University of Louisville Hospital.
Powell was shot in an altercation with Campbellsville Police officers at his Woodlawn Avenue home on Saturday, March 29.
