Man charged with assaulting father

A Campbellsville man has been arrested and charged after he allegedly assaulted his father.

Christopher J. Dickens, 18, of 142 Russell Road, Apt. 1, was arrested Saturday, Jan. 19.

According to Dickens' arrest citation, he is accused of assaulting his father. After police arrived to investigate the assault, Dickens was seen smoking and in possession of marijuana with several juveniles.

Court records state Dickens told police he had been smoking, that the marijuana was his and he had assaulted his father.
