A Campbellsville man has been arrested and charged after he allegedly fired several shots with a firearm near his home.
According to a report filed by Taylor County Sheriff's Deputy Lawrence Walsh, James C. Armstrong, 23, of 1214 Red Fern Road was arrested at 11:09 p.m. Saturday, May 31.
The report states sheriff's deputies received a call reporting shots being fired from 1214 Red Fern Road. The caller told sheriff's deputies that the person firing the shots was coming out of the home, firing and then returning to the home.
After deputies arrived at the scene, the report states, Armstrong was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of drug supplies, possession of marijuana and public intoxication.
The report states three firearms were seized at the home, along with marijuana and other drug supplies.
