Man arrested after chase with police

A Campbellsville man has been arrested and charged after he allegedly took police on a chase that reached speeds of more than 100 mph.

Andrew Blake Clark, 20, of 48 Lakeway Drive was arrested Monday, May 26 at about 1 a.m.

Clark's arrest citation states Taylor County Sheriff's Deputy Mark Dickens observed Clark on KY 55 attempting to do a trick on his Suzuki motorcycle.

When Dickens attempted to stop Clark, the citation states, Clark fled on his motorcycle.

The chase reached speeds of more than 110 mph, the citation states, and Clark passed in a no passing zone.

Clark was charged with reckless driving, speeding, wanton endangerment, having an expired operator's license and fleeing and evading police.

Bond was set at $1,500. Clark was ordered to not drive or violate any laws. He is next scheduled to appear in court Monday, June 9.
