Magistrates discuss energy saving program

More action from the Jan. 8 meeting of the Taylor County Fiscal Court:

• Magistrates heard from representatives from Perfection Group about performing an energy savings performance audit of county-owned buildings. The company, which is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, will determine if the county can save money by bundling its services. With the savings, the representatives said, the county could purchase some new energy equipment, such as a new boiler for the Taylor County Courthouse.
