Opportunities for individuals to become "community patriots" will be the topic of an upcoming talk at Lindsey Wilson College.
Kentucky League of Cities Executive Director Sylvia Lovely will speak about her book, "The Little Red Book of Everyday Heroes: How Ordinary People Can Become Community Patriots," at 5 p.m. ET Tuesday, March 25 in the Thomas D. Clark Reading Room of the Holloway Building.
Lovely's talk - which is part of the Lindsey Wilson Lecture Series on Civic Engagement - is free and open to the public.
