Locals receive awards at CU's Honors and Awards day

Campbellsville University students, including several Campbellsville residents, received awards at Honors and Awards Day on April 17 at Ransdell Chapel.

Campbellsville residents receiving awards include:

• Rebekah Cecile DeVore received the SGA Extra Mile Student Award and Psychology Academic Award.

• Rebekah Arlene Carl received the Alumni Association "Double A" Award for academics and athletics and Sport Medicine Academic Award.

• Barbara Gouveia De Queiroz received the Alumni Association Don Doyle Spirit Award.

• Don Smith received the Alumni Association Achievement Award and Broadcasting and Digital Media Academic Award.

• Erin Hope Alston received the Co-Valedictorian and Mathematics Academic Awards.

• Laura Evie Elizabeth Bishop received the Chemistry Academic Award.

• Jeffrey Scott Blakeman received the Environmental Science Academic Award.

• Latrichia Dawn Lake received the Administrative Technology Academic Award.

• Franklin D. Tucker Jr. received the Healthcare Management Academic Award.

• Kirk Joseph Anderson received the Organizational Management Academic Award.

• Jericho Shane McCoy received the Outstanding Senior Musician (Vocal/Keyboard) Academic Award.

• Joshua Todd Ashbrook received the William K. Pennebaker Education Academic Award for P-12.

• Matthew Lee Feather received the Bobby R. Himes History Academic Award.

• Donna Sprowles received the Staff Servant Leadership Award.

• MeLeigha Carol Pollock received the Champions of Character Award for Women's Golf.

• Emily Dawn Shultz received the Champions of Character Award for Women's Soccer.
