Local World Day of Prayer rescheduled for Friday

World Day of Prayer, originally scheduled for last Friday, was rescheduled to Friday, March 14 due to last week's inclement weather.

The event, hosted by St. Mark United Methodist Church, will begin at 7 p.m. The church is located at 400 Meader St.

World Day of Prayer is a worldwide ecumenical movement of women and men of many faith traditions who come together to observe a common day of prayer on the first Friday in March each year.
