Campbellsville Baptist Church's youth group participated in a 30-hour famine to raise awareness about world hunger.
Fifty-six students gave up food for 30 hours and slept in cardboard boxes in Miller Park.
The youth placed 29,000 forks in the front lawn of Campbellsville Baptist, which represented the number of people who die daily from world hunger.
They raised $2,200 and collected hundreds of canned goods for the Taylor County Food Bank.
