Local parent group joins PTA

Recognizing the benefits of being associated with the PTA, parents at Campbellsville Elementary School voted to become affiliated with the Kentucky PTA and the National PTA.

The vote followed a presentation by PTA representatives about the history, benefits and processes of the association.

"All parent groups are not PTAs. Being affiliated with both the state and national PTA provides numerous benefits to the local group, leaders, members and most importantly, children," said 11th District PTA President Wanda Washington.
