After a one-day trial, a Campbellsville man has been found not guilty of assaulting another man.
Chris Farmer, 43, of 214 Southern Drive, faced a jury of his peers on Tuesday in Taylor Circuit Court before Circuit Court Judge Dan Kelly.
Farmer was indicted by a Taylor County grand jury in June 2012 and charged with second-degree assault. The charge is a Class C felony, punishable by as much as 10 years in prison.
According to Farmer’s indictment, he was accused of hitting a man in the head on Feb. 13, 2012, with a black pipe, causing serious injury.
