Local girl crowned UK's fall homecoming queen

Amory Cox, a junior biology major from Campbellsville, was crowned University of Kentucky fall homecoming queen on Saturday, Oct. 27. She represented Sigma Chi Fraternity.

Cox was among about 30 girls who were nominated for the title by Greek organizations, clubs, the band and other student-led groups. The nominees had to complete an application, and a committee of professors and local business leaders narrowed the pool to 10.
