Sheriff's Department to close during holidays

Taylor County Sheriff's Department will be closed on Dec. 24 and Dec. 25 and Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. The department will accept walk-ins to pay property tax bills on Jan. 2 and Jan. 3. Mailed payments must be postmarked by Dec. 31.

Library Board meeting rescheduled

Taylor County Public Library's Board of Trustees will meet on Thursday, Jan. 3, at noon at the Library. The meeting had been scheduled for Jan. 1.
