Residents will likely pay slightly more taxes to the Taylor County Public Library this year, though board members have voted to set a rate that will bring in about the same amount of revenue as last year.
Board members discussed the rate during their regular meeting on Monday.
Library Director Julia Turpin told Board members she believes a “compensating” rate is the most appropriate for the library this year.
