Taylor County Public Library is bustling.
At Monday’s regular meeting of the library’s Board, members discussed rising circulation numbers and attendance at this year’s summer reading programs.
On behalf of Library Director Julia Turpin, who was unable to attend the meeting, Outreach Librarian Bonnie Webster told Board members that circulation in June shows a 90.68 percent increase in digital checkouts.
Overall, circulation increased in June by 5.19 percent, when compared to May’s figures.
