Campbellsville University's softball season came to a close on Thursday in soggy conditions at the NAIA Region XI Softball Tournament in Henderson, Tenn. with a 3-2 loss to Mid-South Conference rival Georgetown College.
Campbellsville (29-22) took a 2-0 lead in the top of the second inning when Krystle Johnson knocked a two-run homer over the left-field fence on a 3-2 count. Johnson's shot scored Elaine Briscoe who had singled earlier in the inning.
