The road is likely to get rougher, but Campbellsville University’s Lady Tigers smoothed out a few bumps en route to a 96-40 basketball win over Tennessee Temple in the Lady Tigers’ home- and season-opener on Friday night.
Mackenzie Lee and Courtney Clifton sparked a first-half run that led to a 53-24 advantage at intermission. The Lady Tigers scored the first 14 points of the game, six by Lee and four by Megan Isaacs. From there CU threw a variety of lineups at the Lady Crusaders (0-2) from Chattanooga.
