The Campbellsville University Lady Tigers saw their volleyball season come to an end on Friday morning when coach Randy LeBleu's club was eliminated in the NAIA National Tournament in Columbia, Mo.
The Lady Tigers fell to Columbia College 31-29 after beating Mobile 31-19 in the first play-in game earlier in the day.
Campbellsville, Columbia and Mobile all tied with 1-2 records during Pool D play and were forced into a tie-breaker to determine which team would advance into the championship bracket.
The Lady Tigers defeated No. 7-rated Columbia (Mo.) 30-28, 30-25, 26-30, 30-25 on Wednesday in the first round of pool play.
Campbellsville lost to No. 3-ranked Biola (Calif.) 30-23, 30-11 and 30-25 and to Mobile (Ala.) 30-22, 31-29, 30-24 on Thursday.
