Lady Tigers drop close encounters

Campbellsville University's Lady Tigers dropped a pair of games by five points to McKendree and Union (Tenn.) University.

The Lady Tigers lost 70-69 in overtime to McKendree at Lindsey Wilson College on Saturday.

Coach Ginger Colvin's team fought back from a double-digit deficit to send the game into overtime.

Priscila Alves led the Lady Tigers with 16 points while Courtney Danis added 15 points and Meagan Murphy had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Alexia Williams had eight points and six rebounds off the CU bench.
