Lady Knights keep rolling with 76-29 rout vs. Lady Eagles

Marion County scored 27 points in the first quarter and 23 in the fourth frame in disposing of Campbellsville’s Lady Eagles 76-29 on Friday night in Paul J. Coop Gymnasium.

Danielle Morris paced the Lady Eagles (3-14) with 13 points while fellow senior Bronte Karr added eight.

Makayla Epps led the Lady Knights (13-2 with nine straight wins) with 16 points while Kyvin Goodin-Rogers contributed 11 and Shakila Goodin 10.

CHS begins play tonight (7:30) vs. Bethlehem (2-8) in the Touchstone Energy Fifth Region All “A” Classic at Bethlehem.

A win tonight would earn them a semifinal match-up vs. the Washington County-Fort Knox victor on Wednesday.
